This is a perfect example to show different pictures for different attributes. In this particular example, there are 2 different color options.

• 1. Option = White (Out of Stock)
• 2. Option = Black (In Stock)

Try to change the color variations and see how the "add to cart" button behaves. Also keep your eyes on the thumbnails. Depends on whatever you select, the product thumbnails are also changed!!.

For this functionality, "Custom Field - Generic Child Product" has been used. 2 Child product has been created: "Black" and "White"; their stock info and product pictures are different. And the "parent product" has been selected as "not orderable".

This functionality works little buggy with default Virtuemart, but we have fixed the buggy things and make it works flawlessly in DarkMart.

This function is extremely useful if you have a clothing-like store and some of your products have different product pictures and different stock numbers.
